The Park Between the Bridges

Description of the route: This route takes you along the bank of the Harod River. It passes a shady grove as well as antiquities from different periods, the main ones being the upper Turkish-Roman bridge, the lower Turkish bridge, the truncated bridge, flour mills and the gate to the ancient city of Beit She'an. Length: approximately 9 km. Suitable for hikers and bicycle riders. Part of the route is suitable for 4x4 vehicles. Recommended season: year round. Entrance to the trail: From Beit She'an Park - the parking lot on Road 7078, at the northwestern entrance of the city of Beit She'an, near the western Turkish-Roman bridge and at the exit from Road 90 near Basalt Canyon Park on the eastern Roman bridge.
